La Internacional Comunista y el surgimiento de la política de frente único

Abstract

Durante sus primeros cuatro congresos, celebrados anualmente bajo Lenin (1919‐1922), la Internacional Comunista pasó por dos fases distintas: mientras que los dos primeros congresos se centraron en los aspectos programáticos y organizativos de la ruptura con los partidos socialdemócratas (ver particularmente las “Tesis sobre la democracia burguesa y la dictadura del proletariado” aprobadas por el primer congreso y las 21 “Condiciones de admisión de los partidos en la Internacional Comunista” adoptadas por el segundo), el tercer congreso, reunido después del putsch conocido como la “acción de marzo” de 1921 en Alemania, adoptó el slogan “¡A las masas!”, mientras que el cuarto congreso codificó esta nueva línea en las “Tesis sobre la unidad del frente proletario”. Mientras que las tesis adoptadas por los dos primeros congresos fueron originalmente redactadas por los líderes del Partido Comunista ruso, en particular Lenin y Zinoviev, la iniciativa para la adopción de la política de frente único provino del Partido Comunista alemán. En este artículo analizaremos las circunstancias históricas que transformaron a los comunistas alemanes en pioneros de la aplicación de la táctica del frente único
