Abstract

La familia Asteraceae, tribu Heliantheae, para la Flora del Valle de Lerma (Salta, Argentina) está representada por 33 géneros: Acanthospermum, Acmella, Ambrosia, Angelphytum, Aspilla, Bidens, Chrysantellum, Cosmos, Dalia, Delicia, Eclipsa, Hendirá, Flourensia, Galinsoga, Heterosperma, Hymenosthephium, Jaegeria, Lagascea, Parthenium, Salmea, Sanvitalia, Siegesbeckia, Simsia, Smallanthus, Stachycephalum, Synedrellopsis, Tithonia, Tridax, Verbesina, Siguiera, Wedelia, Xanthium y Zinnia, 55 especies y 8 variedades. Asimismo, se citan dos especies de presencia dudosa para el área en estudio. Para cada género se realizó una descripción morfológica, se citó la distribución geográfica y la bibliografía de referencia. Para cada especie se realizó una ilustración, una descripción morfométrica, se consigno la distribución geográfica con un mapa y el hábitat, se citaron nombres vulgares y cuando fue adecuado observaciones y usos. Se realizaron claves de determinación para los géneros, especies y variedades. El trabajo presenta 54 láminas. En esta nueva edición del trabajo se actualizó la información e incorporaron 69 fotografías de las especies.
