Abstract

La arquitecta Filandia Elisa Pizzul fue directora de la Biblioteca de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Ejerció esta función entre abril de 1948 y marzo de 1949. Sucedió la breve gestión de tres meses de Rodolfo Curdy, primer director. Fue la encargada de organizar la biblioteca propia de la facultad ya que antes era parte de la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales. La arquitecta Pizzul se encargó de armar el primer reglamento de funcionamiento, de recibir donaciones y de realizar el inventario de libros (más de 3500 volúmenes). El listado realizado nos da una idea sobre los libros que se consultaban en el momento, el cual ya incluía ediciones del Neufert y de las obras completas de Le Corbusier. Se alejó del cargo cuando el decano Ermete de Lorenzi presentó su renuncia. Una de las salas lleva su nombre desde 1994. Previamente, entre 1934 y 1937, Filandia había sido la Bibliotecaria de la Sociedad Central de Arquitectos.Recuperar la trayectoria de la arquitecta Pizzul significa reconocer que las mujeres tienen una historia propia.
