Abstract

En este capítulo, retomando una serie de trabajos propios, sumado a la oportunidad que ofrece la información que brinda la ENES-Pisac, interesa caracterizar la calidad de los empleos que generan los mercados laborales del país, tomando como tesis de partida la insuficiencia estructural del sistema económico-productivo argentino para absorber al conjunto de la fuerza de trabajo disponible. Para ello, se hace necesario diferenciar las categorías de empleo precario, extralegal o informal de una más amplia como es la de estructura sectorial del empleo, en general asociada a una segmentación estructural de los mercados laborales según tipo, calidad e ingresos de los empleos o trabajos demandados.Con el fin de abordar estos temas desde el enfoque de la heterogeneidad estructural, se lleva adelante un detallado análisis de la matriz ocupacional, la calidad de los empleos y el nivel de ingresos de la fuerza de trabajo durante 2014-2015 en la Argentina, a nivel general y por regiones económicas. Para ello se tiene en cuenta de forma específica la inserción sectorial de la fuerza de trabajo, el nivel de legalidad/extralegalidad de los empleos y la brecha del ingreso por hora trabajada de cada ocupación con respecto a la remuneración media general.
