La llegada de africanos esclavizados al Río de la Plata

Abstract

A lo largo de este capítulo se abordar aspectos vinculados a la trata y diáspora africana producida en tiempos coloniales. Se examina la condición del esclavizado y sus formas de vida en el espacio urbano-rural de la jurisdicción de Corrientes. Se propone pensar una serie de disparadores vinculados a qué implicaba ser una sociedad con pocos esclavos, los cambios sociales desarrollados en el siglo XVIII y el devenir de los procesos abolicionistas del siglo XIX, temáticas que pueden ser objeto de interés y debate para los alumnos/as del Nivel Secundario. También se presentan aspectos de la vida, libertad y mundo laboral de los esclavizados y sus descendientes libres.
