El Movimiento al Socialismo en la conflictividad laboral y la organización sindical durante los años ochenta

Abstract

En este capítulo abordamos la implantación del Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS) en los lugares de trabajo en la década de 1980. En la primera parte nos enfocamos en la actuación de la corriente fundada por Nahuel Moreno en dos procesos que estuvieron, por momentos, entrecruzados: la normalización sindical y las diversas luchas defensivas de colectivos obreros en diferentes sitios laborales del Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA). En la segunda parte del capítulo realizamos un análisis de las problemáticas y particularidades derivadas del crecimiento del MAS al interior del movimiento obrero. En particular, hacemos hincapié en el entrecruzamiento entre la política del morenismo y la cultura emergente del período para explicar el atractivo que tuvo la propuesta del MAS en un sector del movimiento obrero. Asimismo, nos centramos en las tensiones generadas en su interior por la puesta en práctica de mecanismos de participación directa en diversos sitios laborales. Por último, pesquisaremos sobre la relación del partido con otros sectores de izquierda.
