Apoyado en la ecología política, este artículo analiza al capitalismo como una falla ontológica en el vínculo entre la humanidad y la naturaleza, con graves efectos ecológicos y sanitarios, y plantea la necesidad de un giro ecopolítico radical que permita afrontar los urgentes desafíos de aquellos seres que han olvidado su dependencia de la trama de la vida en la Tierra.
Based on political ecology, the article analyzes capitalism as an ontological failure in the human-nature link, with deep ecological and health effects, and raises the need of a radical eco-political turn that allows to confront the urgent challenges of beings who have forgotten their dependence on the web of life on Earth.
