Abstract

Se realizó el análisis de los palinomorfos y nanofósiles calcáreos en muestras de cutting correspondientes al intervalo 1026?954 mbbp del pozo Ombucta x-1, Formación Pedro Luro, Cuenca del Colorado. Se registraron un total de 63 especies de palinomorfos: 48 de quistes de dinoflagelados, una de acritarco, dos de algas, cuatro de esporas y ocho de granos de polen. Se reconocieron las palinozonas C y D de Gamerro y Archangelsky. Se determinó el límite en base a las últimas apariciones (LAD) de Achomosphaera ramulifera, ?Kallosphaeridium circulare, Palaeocystodinium lidiae, Senegalinium laevigatum, Disphaerogena carposphaeropsis, Spiniferella cornuta subsp. kasira, Laciniadinium arcticum, Alterbidinium acutulum, Hafniasphaera australis y Pterodinium cf. cornutum y a la presencia de la espora Grapnelispora evansii. La asociación palinológica estudiada tiene mayormente influencia tethyana y es similar a las registradas en Costa de Marfil, Nigeria, Ghana, Marruecos y Brasil. El tramo analizado incluye dos asociaciones de nanofósiles calcáreos. La maastrichtiana que contiene como principales taxones a Ahmuellerellaocto radiata, Arkangelskiellacym biformis, Cribrosphaerella ehrenbergii, Eiffellithus gorkae, Gartnerago segmentatum, Miculas taurophora y Nephrolithus frequens. La presencia de N. frequens en esta asociación permite incluirla dentro de la biozona CC26 del Maastrichtiano tardío. Marcadores exclusivos del Daniano conforman una asociación integrada por Toweius selandianus, Cruciplacolithus tenuis, Cruciplacolithus primus, Hornibrookina teuriensis, Neochiastozygus modestus y Prinsius africanus, reconociéndose las biozonas NP2-NP3.
