Movilidad residencial en contextos de vulnerabilidad: Los cambios de residencia de los sectores populares

Abstract

Este trabajo se propone indagar si los cambios de residencia implementados por los sectores populares para acceder a una vivienda inciden en la mejora de sus condiciones de vida. La mirada se centra en un caso en particular, el barrio José Colombres (Municipio Tafí viejo), localizado al noroeste del aglomerado Gran San Miguel de Tucumán1 , en el pedemonte de la Sierra San Javier –ubicado al oeste del aglomerado con orientación norte-sur–. Esta área, caracterizada por sus propicias condiciones paisajísticas y ambientales pero también por el fuerte avance de la urbanización y la agricultura que ejercen presión provocando importantes desequilibrios ambientales, suelen estar reservadas –sobre todo por el mercado inmobiliario– para residencia de los grupos con ingresos económicos medio y/o elevado. No obstante, desde hace algunas décadas, están comenzado a ser habitados también por grupos con escasos ingresos...
