La ciencia de las invasiones goza de una envidiable salud, con cientos de artículos publicados anualmente, libros, conferencias y revistas especializadas. Sin embargo, central a esta disciplina, el concepto de “especie nativa”, del cual depende su concepto en espejo “especie no nativa”, no ha sido aún definido y se postula, no se puede definir.
