Abstract

El Corredor costero de Avellaneda y Quilmes posee 41 especies de odonatos (libélulas), lo que representa el 53% de las registradas para la Provincia de Buenos Aires. La gran diversidad de esta área se debe principalmente a que se encuentra ubicada entre dos ecorregiones: Delta e Islas del Paraná y Pampa. A continuación, se detallan su morfología, ciclo de vida, las condiciones ecológicas necesarias para su desarrollo y su clasificación para la zona de estudio. También, las estrategias para observarlas, ya que para diferenciar algunas especies basta con un binocular de corto alcance, mientras que otras requieren estrategias de laboratorio.
