Técnica de cotejo o pareo de certificados de nacimientos y defunciones infantiles con registros médicos

Abstract

En este capítulo se describe la técnica de cotejo o pareo de datos provenientes del sistema de estadísticas vitales (a partir de los certificados de nacimientos y defunciones) con otras fuentes de datos independientes, que contengan total o parcialmente la misma información (por ejemplo, registros médicos). Esta técnica puede ser útil para detectar la omisión en la inscripción de determinados tipos de hechos vitales.
