Afrontamiento y desistimiento como factores de integración social

Abstract

Una gran parte de los internos del sistema penal que iniciaron estudios superiores en contexto de encierro -en especial aquellos con condenas menores- desisten al continuar con la misma o interrumpen sus carreras académicas luego de recobrar su libertad. Resultan necesarias acciones conducentes a la preparación de los estudiantes universitarios privados de libertad para enfrentar el retorno al medio libre. Nuestro equipo propuso un dispositivo grupal de afrontamiento en transición al medio libre, para el abordaje de factores incidentales que impactan negativamente en la continuidad de la trayectoria educativa de las personas privadas de libertad al momento de retornar al medio libre.
