Abstract

In this work, we present some actions developed from the university in order to approach, articulate and work together with other educative levels employing the extension like educative strategy. Science by and for everyone Program (Ciencia entre Todos, CET) of the Centro de Investigación y Apoyo a la Educación Científica (CIAEC) shows the extension like a huge source of problems and solutions for the construction of scientific knowledge in the realm of Science Education. CET Program is focused to the improvement of teaching and learning sciences in all educative levels, with a new and enriched glance about gender perspective and scientific literacy. Concurrently, it provides new issues for the research. By means of our extension-research projects we intend to re-define the role of university in training of teachers.
