Abstract

El objetivo principal del presente trabajo es realizar una caracterización de las estructuras agrícolas arqueológicas ubicadas en un sector de la Quebrada del río de Los Corrales (El Infiernillo-Tucumán). Al mismo tiempo se intenta establecer posibles vinculaciones de las mismas con otros tipos de estructuras arqueológicas presentes en la Quebrada. Cabe destacar que la agricultura, en este sector ubicado a ca. 3200 msnm, habría funcionado por siembra “a temporal” o “de secano”, ya que no se han registrado sistemas de riego artificial. Asimismo, según los resultados de dataciones asociadas al área y de los materiales cerámicos y de la arquitectura presente en este sector, podemos inferir que las estructuras agrícolas serían anteriores al 1000 AP.
