Abstract

This article proposes to place on the scene the debates on the AnthropoceneCapitalocene contributions from Latin American political ecology and territorial, indigenous and community feminisms, which share (and converge in) anti-extractivist positions. From this plot, some epistemic-political keys are recovered, as well as invitations, which challenge us to other ways of inhabiting, linking us and conceiving life under non-patriarchal and non-anthropocentric logics. It is possible to understand such keys, which assume relationality as ontological-political positioning, as relational challenges in a crisis present. To measure the urgency of glimpsing future others, we start from the network between capitalism, coloniality and patriarchy, as a continuum of violence, which entails considering the inescapable interweaving between Capitalocene and extractivism from our Latin American souths. Then, the focus is on another imbrication, that of feminist and anti-extractivist struggles. As critical and purposeful responses, in the first place, the challenge of repoliticizing life and reimagining the human from territorial and indigenous feminisms, worked by Astrid Ulloa from the Latin American and feminist political ecology. Secondly, the proposal to understand life in an interdependent key, worked by Lorena Mina Navarro, Lucía Linsalata and Raquel Gutiérrez Aguilar from Mexico.
