Calidad de vida y escala urbana en la Argentina (2001)

Abstract

En este trabajo intentamos brindar aportes para comprobar la posible vinculación entre escala urbana y calidad de vida en la Argentina de principios del milenio. Para ello nos referimos, en primer lugar, a los cambios que se verificaron en el sistema urbano argentino. En segundo término discutimos y presentamos un índice de calidad de vida para la argentina en el 2001 que es utilizado para establecer la correlación entre ambas dimensiones. En tercer término efectuamos la asociación entre jerarquía urbana y calidad de vida teniendo en consideración los respectivos contextos regionales. Por último hacemos un breve planteo acerca de los factores que puedan estar influyendo en esta asociación para poder especular sobre las posibles perspectivas.
