Entre el atraso y el aplazamiento: Aproximaciones a un régimen epistemológico de las postergaciones

Abstract

En la medida en que "postergar" abre un arco semántico sostenido entre un "hacer sufrir atraso" y un "tener en menos a otro", cabe preguntarse qué modulación del tiempo subyace a un despliegue histórico dentro del cual son posibles las postergaciones tanto como en qué sentido el aplazo inscripto en una postergación adviene una práctica asociada a relegar, despreciar. A causa de ello, en este trabajo nos ocupamos de explorar algunas reflexiones de Walter Benjamin y Theodor Adorno, ya que la exposición de la lógica a partir de la que se entreteje la contradicción moderna de universalidad-particularidad permite reconocer en la Teoría crítica de ambos filósofos una singular denuncia de la producción de postergaciones. Ellos advierten que la connivencia entre progreso e historia universal delinea, gracias a la operatividad racional de una lógica de la identidad, el perímetro dentro del que la ontología discierne los elementos constitutivos de la modernidad de aquellas capas que, a causa de su carácter contradictorio, han de ser despreciadas en cuanto postergadas.
