Abstract

La sombra de Marx y de su pensamiento atraviesa, ciertamente que no como una pesadilla, sino como una permanente fuente de inspiración y de recursos conceptuales, la obra entera de Horacio González. Su pensamiento dio vueltas una y mil veces —desde sus tempranos artículos de Envido hasta La ética picaresca y el Perón— sobre aquella idea de que “Los hombres hacen la historia, pero…”, y dedicó al autor de esa célebre frase uno de sus seis bellos libritos “brasileños”. Martín Cortés, estudioso de la obra de Marx y de sus lecturas en nuestro país, muestra aquí el modo en que González se apropia de ese gran legado en ese sugestivo trabajo de comienzos de los años ochenta, cuya presentación organiza Cortés en torno a tres nudos de problemas (el legado de Hegel en Marx, la idea marxiana de la Historia y la cuestión de la revolución y sus señales) y al modo en el que se presentan ahí dos de las obsesiones que recorren toda la obra de Marx: la preocupación por los secretos y el interés por el teatro.
