Abstract

En las áreas urbanas cubiertas por la Encuesta Permanente deHogares, en la medición inmediatamente anterior al comienzo Aislamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio (ASPO), en el primer trimestre de 2020, las ocupaciones de la construcción concentraban a16 % de los ocupados y su participación alcanzaba valores máximosy cercanos al 19 % en el NEA y la Patagonia.Estas ocupaciones presentan altos niveles de informalidad laboral,[1] condición que históricamente se mostró resistente a la baja.Como se verá a lo largo del capítulo, las principales modificacionesresultantes de las ASPO se observan en las mutaciones de las formasque adquiere la informalidad en cada uno de los grupos de edades yen las diferentes regiones.En el marco del PISAC, nos propusimos caracterizar a los varonesvinculados a ocupaciones de la construcción, apuntando a detectardiferencias regionales y asociadas a la edad. En particular, en el presente trabajo describiremos las formas que adquiere la informalidadlaboral en distintas edades y los cambios que las disposiciones deASPO por COVID imprimieron en estas características.
