Abstract

¿Por qué estudiar cnidarios? ¿Por qué algunos nos interesamos en ellos? Debe haber tal vez tantas respuestas posibles como especialistas en la materia; los cnidarios son criaturas tan extrañas como hermosas, son importantes ecológica y evolutivamente y relevantes para muchas actividades humanas. Los cnidarios representan problemas conceptuales muy interesantes sobre todo debido a la posición clave que ocupan en el árbol evolutivo (Mackie, 2002).
