The United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development recognizes volunteers as key actors in achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs). Working on corporate volunteer programs (CVP) as a way of integrating these objectives into corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies is a great opportunity for business management. Through a descriptive quantitative design, content analysis was implemented on the websites of the companies in the MERCO 2020 ranking of Argentina to learn about the development of CVP and its characteristics. The results show a considerable number of companies without CVP publications and even fewer, an explicitly communicated link between them and the SDGs. Therefore, it is recommended that organizations work on the development of strategic plans for comprehensive CVP communication for greater visibility and possible replication. In this way, the continuous generation of shared value and a significant contribution to the achievement of the sustainable development goals can be favored.
