Un antipopulismo durante el kirchnerismo. La gestación de Cambiemos

Abstract

The present article pretends to show the reactions of the opposition to kirchnerism during its government. Furthermore, it tries to prove how the concept “populism” was used to describe different government practices that were at least questionable for the opposition. In the present article, we focus on the principal reactions of the right or centre-right field and its linkages with the academic argumentation about populism. In the first part, we introduce our theoretical framework (political identities theory) and some theoretical notions that contribute to the understanding of anti-populism. In the second part, we develop our case study and its relations to some critical academic research on populism.
