Abstract

In Argentina, recently, feminist movements have been protagonists of profound transformations in matters of sexuality and gender. The fields of art and culture were not excluded. In the particular case of rock, there was the voice of many young women who, framed in feminism and under slogans such as “We don't shut up anymore”, denounced different musicians in social networks and in justice for having abused them, in most cases when they are recognized as their fans. This article analyzes the positions assumed among fan communities in the face of complaints from their idols based on a virtual ethnographic survey of the comments they left on the official networks of the bands and interviews carried out in a group of fans. There, we find that music is a resource enabled for the configuration of subjectivities and a terrain where fractures occur in this configuration in light of the "awareness" defended by the "fourth wave" militants. In this context, the discontinuity between the moral values sustained in feminist militancy and the attachment with the idol generates disappointments that resemble that of a love duel.
