De música ligera: la fluidez como condición imprescindible para la comprensión lectora

Abstract

La lectura representa un medio insustituible para el aprendizaje y la comunicación humana. Es por esto que se erige como una habilidad fundamental para el desarrollo cognitivo, afectivo y social de las personas. El aprendizaje de la lectura otorga la posibilidad de acceso a las palabras escritas, en forma aislada o en el contexto de un enunciado, con el objetivo final de construir significado. Si hay algo que caracteriza a la lectura es que no es un procedimiento natural. Nuestro cerebro no dispone de circuitos específicamente determinados para leer, y es esto lo que lleva a la necesidad de un aprendizaje, o una enseñanza explícita, en función de alcanzar una lectura competente.
