Jóvenes trabajadores mendocinos: trayectorias laborales y su condicionante familiar

Abstract

This article constitutes part of the results of an ongoing line of research on the links between social agents in the context of the world of work built around the wine industry. These agents, through various relationships, configure this productive activity in a specific territory, the province of Mendoza, Argentina, and specifically the department of Maipú; objective and subjective relationships that involve a particular accumulation of capital, a result of the various positions they occupy in this field throughout their life and work trajectories. From a historical-relational theoretical perspective, this article aims to delve into the material and symbolic relationships established between young workers and their families within the framework of the analyzed labor market. The general objective is to investigate these links and family conditioning in the strategies, trajectories and representations around the work of these young people. In this way it is hoped to advance the knowledge of the articulation between the structural and the individual. In this sense, the family is considered a central agent that allows these two social components to be linked.
