Abstract

The article analyses the love poetry of Argentine poets born in the last quarter of the twentieth century, with a special analysis of the texts of Marina Mariasch, Celeste Diéguez, Paula Jiménez España and María Eugenia López. From the concept of sweet-sour created by Safo and analyzed by Anne Carson, the peculiarities of the current conception of love are followed in the context of the cultural crisis and the conflict between the genders that led to feminist theories. The texts studied show a shift in the conception of love that seeks to de-idealise relationships and move from the idea of the existence of an appropriate or "half-orange" partner towards a freer, more fluid and undramatised, that is, post-love and anti-institutional, way of thinking and feeling about relationships between genders and between women.
