Abstract

En los últimos años, dentro de las investigaciones sobre los trabajadores,se han abierto (o reabierto) diversos debates que abordan temas clásicos como el del peronismo, la izquierda, la organización de base y,cuestión a la que dedicamos este dossier, la burocracia sindical. Objeto ineludible en el estudio del movimiento obrero argentino desde mitaddel siglo XX en adelante, la burocracia sindical ha sido motivo de fuertes polémicas políticas pero también teóricas en torno a su definición,su relación con el peronismo, su carácter inevitable para algunos y la posibilidad de combatirla de manera estratégica para otros. En este dossier, nos proponemos volver sobre este ?hecho maldito?del movimiento obrero pero no desde un punto de vista puramente teórico. Lo que nos interesa es estudiar el desempeño de esas dirigencias gremiales desde una perspectiva que permita dar cuenta de su desarrollo histórico concreto y colaborar, desde ese análisis empírico,en su conceptualización.
