En torno al periodismo narrativo de Leila Guerriero y el ejercicio de la crónica

Abstract

La producción narrativa de la escritora y periodista argentina Leila Guerriero, disponible tanto en los sitios web de publicaciones periodísticas, como así también –aunque no en su totalidad– en formato libro, constituye un corpus prolífico a la vez que significativo del amplio y heterogéneo repertorio de textos agrupados bajo la designación periodismo narrativo latinoamericano. Como se conoce, esta práctica obtiene visibilidad en el continente gracias a la labor desarrollada entre otros por la Fundación para el Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano (FNPI), impulsada por el colombiano Gabriel García Márquez hacia 1994. Se vincula a la vez con el universo de autores, revistas digitales y libros instituyentes de una modalidad de escritura testimonial, documental, de “no-ficción”, o de “posficción”, en la que cobra protagonismo la mirada del narrador/periodista como organizadora de un relato que al indagar en el “por qué” de los sucesos, profundiza en el “qué” típico de la nota informativa.
