Abstract

Se trata de llevar a cabo una aproximación desde la perspectiva de las ciencias sociales al conocimiento del “pensar humano” en contextos de exclusión social y de pobreza. Una aproximación que exige un replanteo paradigmático que permita reconocer a “los otros” como sujetos, condición ineludible y necesaria de una nueva construcción de conocimiento. Sujetos capaces de generar un pensar y un conocer que se constituye en una instancia imprescindible de considerar en un debate serio y profundo “sobre lo humano” en el mundo actual. Una aproximación que en esta oportunidad nos enfrenta especialmente tanto con el desafío epistemológico implícito en el encuentro con “los otros” y su capacidad de conocer, como con el reconocimiento de una diversidad de matrices culturales presentes en la trama social. Un tipo de aproximación que genera interrogantes y replanteos y que intenta poner en el tapete de la discusión, sobre el amplio espectro de la “pluralidad de horizontes”, la persistente propuesta de que “otro mundo es posible” desde el reconocimiento de lo humano en su fecunda multiplicidad y en la búsqueda de una vida digna superadora de desigualdades e injusticias sociales.
