Abstract

Montoneros its historically known as a “militarist” organization. That means, that its suppose to privilege armed actions instead the development of masses organization. Those affirmations shake hands of the allegation of an intrinsic revolutionary character due to the radicalization of their actions. However, this statements are based on isolated Montoneros actions that not allow to explain its historical development during 1970-1976. In this paper, throw an exhaustive reconstruction and analysis of the several armed actions of this period will show the weight of armed action in the general activity of Montoneros its nature and the political objectives pursued. Our hypothesis is that Montoneros armed action was in defense of Reformist program of National Liberation with t bourgeois democracy defense as target
