Abstract

En este trabajo se explora un aspecto del consumo cultural ligado a los jóvenes, como son los usos y apropiaciones de tecnologías en espacios privados, de consumo público; como lo son los ciber (Finquelievich y Prince, 2007). El trabajo se enmarca en el proyecto de tesis doctoral que explora los usos de las tecnologías de la comunicación por parte de jóvenes del Conurbano Bonaerense Sur. De allí que, como propuesta metodológica cualitativa, se propone la observación de estas prácticas de consumo por parte de jóvenes en el Ciber-café “El Madero” ubicado en el barrio Villa La Florida, partido de Quilmes, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, como estudio de caso.

In this research its explore the cultural aspect of consumption which is linked to young people. The way they use and appropriate of these technologies in the private spaces and public environment, such as cyber (Finquelievich and Prince, 2007). However this work is part of a doctoral project, that explores the uses of communication technologies by a youth group of people from the south of Buenos Aires. Considering this, as a methodological approach, its propose the observation of these practices with these people in the cyber-café called "El Madero" where it´s located in the neighborhood of Villa La Florida (Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina), as case study.
