Un laboratorio judicial: el surgimiento de los tribunales del trabajo en la provincia de Buenos Aires

Abstract

El objetivo de este capítulo del libro es explorar el proceso de creación del fuero laboral en la provincia de Buenos Aires. Se reconstruye en primer lugar el contexto que dio lugar a la sanción de la ley 5178 y sus reformas, el despliegue de los juzgados y el perfil del primer elenco de jueces. Por otra parte se explora el desempeño inicial de los tribunales y la relación que establecieron los trabajadores con ellos, explorando cuantitativamente y cualitativamente las formas diferenciadas de acceso a los tribunales, los niveles de litigiosidad y el resultado de las sentencias. Finalmente se exploran los cambios y consecuencias que trajo aparejado el Golpe de Estado de 1955.
