Abstract

Se presenta un estudio de partículas volátiles retenidas por filtros de 1 um provenientes de chimeneas de calderas bagaceras de la industria del azúcar. La microscopía electrónica de barrido (SEM) con análisis dispersivo en energía (EDS) posibilitó la observación del toporama de las partículas y su composición, la difracción de rayos X (DRX) permitió inferir que las partículas volátiles no son amorfas y la microscopía electrónica de transmisión (TEM) evidenció la existencia de partículas nanoscópicas.
