Los servicios intensivos en conocimiento: Una oportunidad para diversificar la estructura exportadora de la Argentina

Abstract

Este trabajo intenta explorar en qué medida hay una oportunidad para diversificar la estructura productiva y exportadora de la Argentina en el sector servicios, y, si dicha oportunidad existe, cuáles son las condiciones requeridas para aprovecharla. Nos concentramos en un segmento de servicios (a los cuales denominamos intensivos en conocimiento) que se caracterizan por ser intensivos en trabajo calificado y por emplear tecnologías de avanzada para su prestación, incluyendo fundamentalmente las TICs, las cuales habilitan además su provisión a larga distancia.
