Reflexiones sobre el crecimiento agrícola pampeano a la luz del concepto de la renta diferencial de segundo tipo

Abstract

El objetivo de este escrito es aportar una reflexión teórica que permita aproximar a la comprensión del fenómeno de acelerado crecimiento y auge productivo en un sector de la economía (la agricultura) en el que la posibilidad de capitalizar ganancias extraordinarias por parte del agente que dirige la producción está severamente limitado por la elevación de los costos de arriendo. Para ello se analiza el concepto de renta de la tierra, en particular aquella que en el análisis clásico se vinculaba a la alteración de la función productiva por cambios en el capital invertido. Luego de estudiar las propuestas de análisis que se han hecho en este campo, se sintetiza la propia postura en el que la captura de este tipo de excedente está en la base de la expansión del capital arrendatario a gran escala.
