Abstract

in all culturies, energy conservation play a mean role in rational use of energy. In this paper it is presented two cases of differents building envelopes such for similar superficies of floor. It is presented two differents costs, one for the Iggam Weber System and another by handcrafted to apply the thermal insolation for walls. The cost of two different cases are presented if Value Added Tax (VAT) is not included as incentive strategies. It is presented the more convenient case, that is, put thermal isolated in walls combined with auxiliar heating system of balanced shot convector. The amortization period is 20 years. If do not apply VAT the amortization period fall to 16 years. The building shape is fundamental because for more rational building the cost of thermal isolation is $ 61/m2 of floor area surface, while for chalet building is $ 116/m2 of floor area surface.
