Abstract

Las transformaciones en las industrias culturales y el despliegue de las plataformas de internet obligan a repensar los valores tradicionales de la libertad de expresión en el nuevo contexto. Resultan un desafío también para las políticas de comunicación y los estándares regulatorios, que se ven desacomodados ante la emergencia de actores y mercados que escapan a las normativas tradicionales. Finalmente, constituyen un reto para los Estados nacionales, dada la condición global de las plataformas y de los grandes gruposde comunicación que pone en cuestión sus capacidades yfacultades regulatorias.El objetivo de este artículo es analizar algunos de los nudos problemáticos de la regulación del discurso en el contexto de transformación del escenario comunicacional.
