Abstract

This paper describe a set of experiences created by different institutional instances in order to generate information and keep up with labor market’s evolution and dynamics in different contexts. The main purpose of the article was to investigate the kind of approach to labor markets that these experiences make, paying attention to the characteristics in the construction and analysis of labor indicators spatially disaggregated. It is interesting to systematize how the experiences incorporate the territorial dimension into the construction and analysis of the information about labor market, considering it as a criterion to study labor dynamics and how they relate to specific productive networks. We wonder about the data’s ability generated by different organizations to account for, among other aspects, a region’s particular occupational settings.
