Abstract

In this publication we will concentrate on observing the passage from extractivism to neo-extractivism, and particularly the survival of devices of appropriation of nature. As a result, a preveilling territorial model has been developed. We also propose an analytical and methodological exercise to concretely recognize how the use of different geographical scales and different space-time scales are present in the configuration of the territory. Agro-ecological history appears as a perspective that allows us to perform the proposed analysis. In short, the deepening of the extractive industry, which is today neo-extractivist, is linked to the presence of geostrategic natural resources.
