Abstract

El cambio climático es el mayor problema ambiental al que debemos enfrentarnos en los últimos tiempos. El sector agropecuario emite gases invernadero comoson: el dióxido de carbono a partir de laquema de combustibles (ya sean fósiles obiomasa); el óxido nitroso por la aplicaciónde fertilizantes nitrogenados; y metanoproducto de la ganadería. La cadena decarne bovina en La Pampa es el 50% delProducto Bruto Geográfico del sector primario, convirtiéndose en un gran contribuidor de gases de efecto invernadero a escala provincial. Dado esto, sería apropiadoanticiparse a una futura imposición de latrazabilidad de emisiones midiendo eldesempeño ambiental de dicha cadena.
