En este trabajo se estudiarán las intervenciones de Borges en el Colegio Libre de Estudios Superiores, una de las principales instituciones que le dio trabajo luego de su desplazamiento de su cargo de Bibliotecario Municipal en 1946. Se parte de la hipótesis de que, detrás de los temas enunciados en los títulos, en las conferencias dictadas entre 1949 y 1952 subyacen distintas formas de intervenir contra el gobierno de Perón. El ordenamiento y análisis de los materiales permitió constatar que Borges utilizó estrategias de desplazamiento como uso de imágenes, tendencia alegorizante y elipsis, para aludir indirectamente a los tiempos que él interpretó como de dictadura. Por otro lado, este estudio pone en evidencia que los intentos de desplazar a Borges no acaban en su conflicto en la Biblioteca Miguel Cané, sino que sus fuentes de trabajo vuelven a verse afectadas en 1952 a partir de la clausura de la sede del Colegio Libre de Estudios Superiores y de los impedimentos para obtener el pasaporte, que interrumpieron sus conferencias en Montevideo.

In this article we will focus on Borges´ activities at the Colegio Libre de Estudios Superiores, one of the main institutions where he gave conferences after being forced to resign from his job at the Biblioteca Municipal Miguel Cané. Our hypothesis is that, behind the subjects stated in the titles, in the conferences given between 1949 and 1952 underlie different ways of intervening against the government of Perón. The analysis of the materials shows that Borges used many strategies of displacement like the use of images, allegorizing tendencies and ellipses, to allude indirectly to the times that he interpreted as of dictatorship. On the other hand, this study shows that attempts to displace Borges do not end in his conflict in the Biblioteca Miguel Cané, but his sources of work are again affected in 1952 as of the closing of the Colegio Libre de Estudios Superiores and the impediments to obtain the passport, which interrupted its conferences in Montevideo.
