Migración, afrodescendientes y violencia institucional en Argentina

Abstract

Hace menos de un mes, en medios sociales, se viralizaba un video donde podíamos ver a varios policías hostigando brutalmente a un vendedor senegalés en el barrio porteño de Flores. A pesar de que el movimiento negro en Argentina haya fortalecido sus derechos ciudadanos durante la última década, estamos viviendo un momento de retorno a políticas represivas, que redundan en persecución y criminalización de los migrantes y afrodescendientes. Para comprender el fenómeno de violencia institucional al que asistimos, es necesario acercarse a las luchas históricas protagonizadas por afrodescendientes y africanos migrantes en nuestro país.
