En el año 2020 se quemaron más de 300.000 hectáreas en la provincia de Córdoba. En el pequeño pueblo serrano Alpa Corral, los incendios no dieron tregua y, entre septiembre y octubre, en pocos días se quemaron más de 90.000 hectáreas, muchas de ellas de bosque nativo.
