Abstract

Through a joint approach of the accumulation model, the political language, the social and institutional practices and the social imaginaries, it analyses the continuities, innovations and gradual transformations of the Cambiemos alliance in relation to the governments of Menem and De la Rúa. In this framework, the paper contributes to the study of neoliberalism and discursive constructions of these governments to build legitimacy, in comparative perspective. In the last part, it explores on the limits of Macri´s government to build a successful hegemony.
