Métodos para medir a sustentabilidade na aquicultura

Abstract

A importância de se adotar práticas mais sustentáveis nos sistemas aquícolas vem sendo reconhecida, porém, para isso, é essencial conhecer a sustentabilidade de cada sistema. No entanto, as metodologias para avaliá-la são ainda pouco divulgadas. Neste artigo, apresentamos uma breve descrição dos métodos utilizados para avaliar a sustentabilidade da aquicultura em todo o mundo. Estes são: análise emergética, pegada ecológica, análise do ciclo de vida, resiliência e conjuntos de indicadores. Além disso, apresentamos uma revisão dos artigos que usaram esses métodos na aná- lise de sistemas de aquicultura disponíveis na literatura internacional.
