Elecciones 2019 en Santiago del Estero: Triunfo del Frente de Todos en las presidenciales y predominio electoral del oficialismo provincial

Abstract

En Santiago del Estero se realizaron elecciones nacionales para elegir presidente y vicepresidente, tres bancas de senadores nacionales y cuatro bancas para diputados nacionales. Al igual que en la provincia de Corrientes, Santiago del Estero tiene desfasado el calendario electoral para elegir Gobernador, debido a la última Intervención Federal en abril de 2004. Las elecciones marcaron: a) el triunfo en la fórmula presidencial del Frente de Todos (FDT) superando el 70% de los votos, frente a Juntos por el Cambio (JPC) que no llegó al 20%; b) el predominio del oficialismo provincial, que estratégicamente se dividió en dos listas para obtener todas las bancas de Senadores y de Diputados Nacionales.
