Abstract

La ricerca riguarda la documentazione e la rappresentazione dello spazio e della condizione dell’abitare di tre casi studio: la “Villa 31” e la “Villa Rodrigo Bueno” della Ciudad de Buenos Aires e la “Favela Sol Nascente” di Brasilia. Si tratta di quegli insediamenti spontanei presenti in America Latina dove le condizioni di povertà economica si traducono in miseria dello spazio e miseria umana e l’emarginazione sociale si concretizza in marginalità spaziale. Il carattere interdisciplinare della ricerca consente osservazioni e indagini sia da un punto di vista spaziale e abitativo sia da un punto di vista socio-urbano e culturale.
