Abstract

We will explore the recent resistance forms of the worker’s bodies to labour flexibility and to unemployment in the fishing industry. Towards the late nineties the working conflict was expressed publicly in a growing and multiform social protest, in the context of the crisis in a productive system strongly linked to the "convertibility". With the abandonment of the convertibility, the struggle suffered transformations that implied a new cycle of rebellion. This is why we propose in this article to account for the changes and continuities in the fluent graphemes of the worker’s resistance, knowing that the riot was (and is) one of its more typical forms.
