Migraciones, interculturalidad y desperdicios humanos

Abstract

El mundo contemporáneo no puede comprenderse sin captar el cambio radicalrelacionado con la presencia cotidiana de alteridades sociales, culturales y políticas. Otredades lingüísticas y religiosas. Alteridades que no comprendemos y que por ello mismo devienen en un significante sobre el cual se disputa. Esas otredades muchas veces se consideran migraciones, incluso cuando no lo son. Y a las migraciones se las considera como un fenómeno de desplazamiento de la periferia hacia el centro, cuando no siempre lo es. ¿Cómo convivir en un mundo global y desigual, con cosmopolitismos múltiples y en tensión, si no entendemos los distintos puntos de vista que están en juego? Este trabajo es un aporte para tratar de comprender la interculturalidad como un desafío que nuestras sociedades, sus ideales de justicia y de democracia, tienen en este momento.
